I would like to thank every single one of you for your support and encouragement during 2010.
2010 has been a great year for me personally (especially with the birth of my little son) and for Here We Go Loopy Lou. I couldn't do it without you all!
I have great plans for 2011, so in between spending time with my little family, I will take this break to think them through and start planning!
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends and a fantastic New Year.
Until 2011.....Melinda xxxx

Handmade Living Giveaway
Here We Go Loopy Lou has a little feature in the brand new book Handmade Living - A Designer Collective. My copy is still on its way, but from all accounts it is absolutely fabulous. Lots and lots of creative projects, ideas and inspiration. I cannot wait until it arrives! I will pop a picture up when it does!
The Handmade Cooperative has had six very talented members featured in the book. To celebrate, the lovely Dianne (who coordinates the Cooperative) is giving away a copy of the book to one very lucky reader.
This is definitely a giveaway worth entering, so please do pop past the Handmade Cooperative Blog to see all the details on how to enter.
Good luck!!!

Taking a little break and a SALE!
2010 has been a wonderful year for Here We Go Loopy Lou. I have had so many wonderful things happen with the business and I am so pleased that so many people now have a Here We Go Loopy Lou card they can call their own!
It is time for me to take a little break though. I will be closing my online store on Friday December 17th (around 5pm!) and I intend to re-open towards the end of January again.
I intend to spend oodles and oodles of time with my 3 little boys, my hubby, my family and my friends. I will be spending time at the park, the Zoo, swimming at the pool and all the other wonderful things I love to do with my family and friends. I want to celebrate my son's 3rd Birthday and I want to prepare my eldest son for 4 year old Kindy. He will be at Kindy 3 days next year, and then off to school, so I want to savour every minute I have with him now! I want to enjoy those snuggly baby cuddles with my 8 month old son.
I also want to think about where Here We Go Loopy Lou will head in 2011 and I want to design and create some new ranges for 2011.

I will be taking a complete break from blogging, Facebook and Twitter. I still intend to visit, just not post things myself.
Until Friday, I am offering 20% off selected stock in the Made It store.
Thank you to everyone for your support during 2011. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year. I hope you all have a wonderful summer and I will see you again in February.

Christmas Card and Tag Sale - 25% off
I'm feeling super happy after going to the Wiggles Concert with the family this morning! I have to admit, I got a little starstruck when I saw Murray standing right next to me!!!! I felt like a little kid!!
Anyway, has anyone else noticed that the mail system is already slowing down? It is only December 5!! In the interest of spreading more handmade love (!), I have decided to offer 25% off my Christmas Cards and Tags in the Made It and Etsy Stores until midnight Monday December 6th. In most cases, this will still give you the chance to receive the cards and send them out again.
Thank you and enjoy browsing.

Going Green
I have been going "greener" with Here We Go Loopy Lou as of late. I try to be as green as I can at home, so I am also wanting to be greener when it comes to Here We Go Loopy Lou.
You will notice that my Christmas Cards this year have recycled envelopes. Once I work through my envelope stash, I will shift to recycled envelopes for the range. I have also introduced recycled cardstock, and again, once I work through my current stash, I will be using recycled cardstock for the range.
I also have plans for a new range for 2011 that will fit nicely into this greener approach! Stay tuned!

Love AJ, Magnolia Square and Here We Go Loopy Lou
Very exciting news here at Here We Go Loopy Lou Headquarters!
I recently met with Amber of Love AJ. Love AJ creates windswept and interesting artwork using vintage kimono and sari fabrics and papers imported from around the world. Personally, I think Amber's artwork is stunning, intricate and very unique, a great present for a special person in your life.
Amber and I clearly share a love of fabric! Our products compliment each other perfectly. Given this, Amber has decided to stock a very wide range of Here We Go Loopy Lou greeting cards in her stand at the upcoming Magnolia Square Market in Melbourne.
So if you are heading to Magnolia Square this Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, please do stop by and say hello to Amber at the Love AJ stand. You will fall in love with her artwork. If you cannot make the Market, be sure to stop by her website and browse the range.
